Physical Description		He is not tall nor has an outstanding physique, but his noble demeanor never went unnoticed. He had tribal tattoos on both arms, forehead, and back. That last one is large and has some ritualistic meaning.

Personal History		Bai'Xiu was found by Romulans buried on a barren planet inside stasis pods. A great extent of his memory was erased but the physical conditioning and his natural instincts were preserved. From a group of 134 pods, just eleven were recovered with success. They were genetically identified as members of the Thallonian race and lived for a couple of years among Romulan ranks. By the time Bai'Xiu discovered about the New Thallonian Protectorate just three rescued Thallonians had survived. During a mission, he defected and seek asylum on Federation territory. Later he decided to join Starfleet and started his journey to find more about his species and recover his past.
Service Record		His first assignment was to the USS Drakis where he worked primarily as a transporter operator -- and his way to lieutenant, junior grade -- by pulling extra hours, keeping his transporter in the best shape of the ship's available machines, and otherwise impressing the chief of operations, Lieutenant Commander Slak. He was made the ship's chief of communications shortly thereafter and began a working friendship with the Vulcan Ort'hak, who helped him to assimilate better the Starfleet culture. Bai'Xiu was later transferred to the USS Venus after his promotion to full lieutenant. He served as a communication specialist, where he had the opportunity to understand better the intrinsicalities of interracial relations.
