| Personal History | Born to a Slave on a Slave ship. She was given a name by her mother, but never was it used for her. The master was not kind, for the most part until she got old enough to start doing things. Then it was discovered as she read that she had a gift for learning languages. By the age of 10 she was working with her master on all of his deals in case somebody said something and he didn't understand it She, like the others did all the jobs on the ship. By time she was 12 she had learned to pilot the ship, easy repairs to the engines, worked tactical and how to read sensors, plus her master had her as his free translator. At the age of 12, after a business deal went bad, her master got angry. She ran in fear of her life. They were at a starbase when it happened. She managed to get on to the base. Where she hid until she was able to get Securities help to protect her. By this point her mother had been killed in the Masters anger. Many of the other slaves had also suffered his Wrath. And since this has happened on a federation base he was arrested for murder. As the only surviving member of the ship she had access to parts of it. She begged to not be sent back to the ferengi home planet. As she wasnt sure if she really had any family there. A federation family took her in and she was raised on Earth It was during the dominion war she heard about a Ferengi Joining star fleet. When she turned 18 she decided to join herself. It was an uphill battle and she did not feel that she was good enough for the Academy, in fact she failed the test twice. so she joined the bootcamp A few years into her service as a linguist, she realized that she had little chance to advance. So she began helping as a second role in security, working under a master at arms with the list of weapons being checked in-and-out as making lists was easy and fun for her. She found she loved lists. For the next few years she worked under a master at arms and As a linguist. When she became a chief Petty officer, she had just worked with the master at arms, but would help the linguist when needed. |
