Physical Description | On duty, she likes clean crisp uniform, so crisp that the creases appear to have creases but only when she is in the office, if she would have her way she would appear as she often does, off duty or when she is busy in the Arboretum rearranging plants. Dirt often smudges her clothing then and is often under her nails. But both are removed quickly after she leaves. |
Personality & Traits
General Overview | She has put the past behind her and focuses on the now. She is often seen smiling and laughing but she has had her share of sorrow and tears and occasionally that will be seen in her eyes and on her face. | |
Strengths & Weaknesses | Observant, persistent and stubborn. She tries to keep things organized but you will often find her desk in a conglomerate of stack after stack of things she intends to read or has read or will read again. Her biggest weakness is that at times when seriously troubled or in pain she bottles stuff up. |
|
Ambitions | She has no great goals, if asked if she would like to be in Command of a ship or base she smiles and says "Yes, if the time is right and it is expected for me to do so then perhaps I will do so. Otherwise I am quite content to simply be.” Under lying, that she still holds onto the unspoken dream of having a family of her own one day. |
|
Hobbies & Interests | Languages: Studies and learns them. Federation Standard, Bajoran, Klingon, Vulcan (ancient too), Romulan and a few other languages like those of ancient Terra (hieroglyphics) |
Personal History | Starbase, Starship and Colony's is where she was born and then grew up at, one after another. She spent most of her teenage years following her father around on distant planets and colonies. Digging relics out of the ground and doing constant research. When she did spend time with her mother it was to learn about how life as a Starfleet officer meant that you went were you were sent to serve. She didn't mind either life. After being allowed in at the Vulcan Science Academy, she joined starfleet and pursued a career as a science officer, her abilities were with plants, archeology. Her service record was not all that exciting as most of her time in between studies were spent as an intern with her father on Colony Esteria. After Graduation from the Academy she served on a Starbase as a science officer, transferred to the USS Vigilante and then the USS Wolfe she made assistant chief science officer it was during that time when she met Syrrik the first time. Life after meeting him changed many things. She and her future husband met during a Colony disaster that needed many hands to help. She had been stationed there as an archeologist, and cataloger of artifacts and to make arrangements with museums. Syrrik arrived after a quake struck; he was there for a twofold mission, one to counsel those that had lost loved ones and second to assist her with the saving of many of the colonies ancient artifacts. They became good friends; when the time came they both went their separate ways but kept in contact with one another because of their love for artifacts, the history or various people and cultures. Soon afterwards Syrrik lost his wife in childbirth, both mother and child perished. Heartbroken Syrrik asked for a transfer and the two met up once more during a time when they least expected it. The two grew closer together much to the chagrin of his family and eventually he asked to marry her. She had accepted and after many attempts and many miscarriages which only added extra stress to their marriage she conceived. Joyous but full of trepidation she was afraid to tell him. She never had the opportunity to tell Syrrik, before he was killed while he was away doing disaster work as a counselor. She miscarried soon afterwards in deep shock and pain she asked for a transfer and found a nice civilian colony to settle on and heal. She dove into her work, as the head archeologist, anthropologist she spent many days, and most nights digging out various remnants of a civilization that had been long gone but found. Several years later she was asked to teach at a university on the very topic she had spent so many years on. Her siblings finally prompted her to return to Star Fleet since so she could obviously see more and learn more elsewhere about other species then what she could learn in one place. She returned to service with the Federation. |
