Joey 04 Jan 2020 @ 2:57pm	Joey has been around a while, but she's not become stagnant. She's grown, moved to her own department, fallen in love, and gotten married. And to top it all off, she had twins in the midst of a hostile takeover of the ship. I don't imagine that writing pregnant Joey has been an easy task, but she's pulled it off beautifully. And then to be writing her during the delivery of premature twins...wow. I can't wait to see how the addition of children to the Geisler family affects Joey's decisions in the future. That's some character development.
Jerrod York 01 Oct 2017 @ 8:18pm	I nominate Jerrod. In Flight Simulation, Terry demonstrated to Kelly what it meant to be a fighter pilot and encouraged her through both words and actions in a role of mentor when he took her under his wing. He was patient, kind, taught from multiple angles and treated her as an equal despite their rank. He has came a long way since I've known him in character development for Terry and in his writing and I look forward to seeing more of what he's capable of.
28 Jan 2017 @ 10:53pm	As a character, Temerant has developed despite several critical setbacks ranging from being controlled by the Consortium to being a prisoner of the Confederation. Despite everything, he has endured the suspicion of the crew, changed the mind of the Chief of Security even after a phaser fight and found love. If there is any other character more deserving of the Honor of Excellence, then may the best being win.
Joey 28 Jan 2017 @ 10:52pm	I would have to say that out of many excellent players, this one stands out as someone always willing to jump in and be a part of things, going out of their way to make not only an impact, but a positive one.
Andrew 28 Jan 2017 @ 10:52pm	I'd like to nominate Harvey Geisler for the Honor of Excellence Award. The award description states that this is an "individual who displayed fine achievement in writing and character development." Harvey has done so repeatedly in this mission as we have seen his versatility by him playing the part of a civilian merchant on the AU's Razmena, confronting two Confederation ships with a ship that was still partially damaged, and reuniting with the Cochrane. This mission-oriented Harvey has also started to find the balance of having a personal life as evidenced by A Meal to Remember where he sat down and enjoyed a meal with fellow crew members and the characters continuing development of a relationship. He has also shown that, in reference to the work relationship with his Yeoman, the IC mission takes its toll on the character as he exhibits tiredness and frustration. Most certainly evidence of a three-dimensional character. And the fact that the CO needs to be nominated and recognized once in a while.
16 Feb 2016 @ 9:03pm	Lieutenant Bast is one of the best writers on the Black Hawk. His quality of writing on this mission was amazing, in particular his posts that described the silence between symbiont and host. That is the kind of writing that makes simming amazing.

16 Feb 2016 @ 9:03pm	The Player distinguished himself in the mission Rude Awakening by portraying a Trill whose host/symbiont connection had been broken by a poison. What impressed me was the posts from the perspective of the disconnected Bast symbiont and then as the connection was slowly remade. It was creative and something I had never seen before.
16 May 2015 @ 10:58pm	She weasels her way into JPs very nicely. I love when people do that, instead of sitting on the sidelines waiting for someone to draw them in.
