A Familiar Face Returns

Hello everyone.
On September 28, 1987, CBS made history by launching its second live-action Star Trek series called "Star Trek: The Next Generation." It represented a huge gamble, and while it was not immediately received by fans, it became the foundation modern Star Trek simming was built upon.
Last year, news of Star Trek: Discovery broke. Many were not happy that it was locked behind a paywall, and many still haven't watched it. But, as I have stated countless times in public, it was a gamble. We as Trek fans could either embrace it and convince CBS that we not just wanted more Star Trek, but we would support it, and hope that they would reward us.
I was right.
Today, at the annual Star Trek Las Vegas convention, a major announcement was made regarding the future of Star Trek, and the future of the prime universe. Rather than me tell you about it, I present to you a wonderful 12-minute video that will explain it all. Enjoy:
