Now Hear This!

First and foremost, Happy New Year everyone! 2015 was an interesting year for the Black Hawk. Those of you who are simming veterans know how hard a sim's first mission is, and how hard it is to keep a sim going afterwards.

The Black Hawk is no stranger to turnover, and as we are barely into 2016, I'm proud to say this is the finest crew the Black Hawk has ever featured in her 2 years of service. I have fantastic hopes for the new year, as well as many new challenges for us all to face.

But that's not the reason for this news post.

I dropped by the Bravo Fleet Forums today (which if you haven't created an account there, please do so soon) and discovered a most unexpected announcement.

As you are hopefully aware, the Black Hawk was honored with the Task Force's Sim of the Month award in October of 2015. I am very pleased to say that the Black Hawk has received Bravo Fleet's first ever Sim of the Quarter Award! Here in a few moments, this award will be tagged with every player here, regardless if you were with us in October of not because I believe that the crew has only gotten better since October.

Just like I've said on many occasions, I can't take any credit for this. The honor is due to all of you. I believe without a doubt that this group of players is the finest in the interwebs. I really cannot wait to see where the future takes us!

I also want to point out a special honor to Bravo Fleet's Player of the Quarter. The official announcement (which is below) lists a Lt. Cmdr. Sam Aubrey as Player of the Quarter. This player also provides the voices for Lt. Bast and Cdre. Terlexa here on the Black Hawk. Congrats!
