Mission: Crossing Over
Location: Deck 6 Jefferies tube
Timeline: MD 35; 1000 hours

Charles came to he was in a very odd position. There was heat and noises going on all around him. At first he didn’t want to open his eyes. Part of him just wanted to lay there. With his right leg pinned under him it was in a bit of pain. He tried to straighten it out and that was when he realized he was in a very confines space, but where? As all of his senses had started to come back he could smell burnt circuitry, and some sort of coolant leak above him. He could feel the heat on his face and his body was very cramped. He had a taste in his mouth that was very dry and acidic.

With his eyes coming open slowly he could see he was in some sort of juncture of a tubed system. The area was just big enough for a person of average size to climb through. Where was he? Why was he here? And who….is he? The last question took over his thought process. All of senses were muted in his mind as it raced to answer that very important question. Who was he?

As he sat there racking his head it was blank. He had no recollection of who he was and were he came from. He held his hand up in front of his face and tried to move his neck to examine his cloths. Nothing seemed to trigger his memory. He knew he should have memories but the harder he tried to identify those memories the more his head began to hurt. He wasn’t get anywhere sitting in this damn tube. He saw on the side of the tube what looked like a ladder system. He slowly worked his way up as he was very very sore and felt fatigued.

He found an access port and was able to figure out the door. That seemed like the easiest tasked he had tried to do since he had come to. He felt fairly comfortable crawling through the tube. As he exited he was in corridor somewhere. He read some writing on the way it said Deck 6. He wasn’t sure why but that made him feel a sense of being home. He started to walk down the hall when he found other people laying on the floor and wandering around he noticed they were all in the same dress some wore red, blue or gold like him. No one was really talking. Charles was hoping seeing something would jog his memory. He came to a door that said Utility-Life Support. He touched a button and the door opened for him.

Once inside he saw a number of consoles some had been blown and were sparking others were still intact. He wasn’t sure why he was drawn here but when he started to look at the consoles a general knowledge of how life support works was there. It wasn’t so much a memory as it was his skills taking over. He started to look at the read outs and saw there were some irregularities. He started to work through some commands he was able to stabilize life support the best he could tell. He was no closer to knowing who he was, but at least he didn’t feel as helpless
