Mission: Crossing Over
Location: Various
Timeline: MD 35 || 1000 Hours

Camila was grateful that she knew her name as she took the turbolift down to deck three where the computer had stated that the Chief Counselor's office was in the hopes of finding Lieutenant Stuart there. She had no idea what a counselor was, but it sounded like someone who gave council and must be an important person.

When she exited the turbolift, she asked the computer for the location of the office and followed the directions until she arrived. She saw a panel on the door but had no idea what to do but decided to try something. "Computer, override door lock, authorization Camila Di Pasquale, Chief of Security," she said, still feeling a bit foolish at speaking to the air.

"Please state authorization code," the neutral voice said.

"What code?" Camila muttered. "I don't know my code."

"Code invalid," the computer replied.

"Is Lieutenant Stuart currently in the Chief Counselor's Office?" she asked.

"Negative."

"Locate her, please," Camila requested.

"Lieutenant Stuart is in Sickbay," the computer responded.

She muttered and turned away from the door and headed towards the next location, which was Sickbay. There was a swarm of activity there of people in teal uniforms and the Security Chief squeezed her eyes shut for a minute, then began to try to find the Counselor. A short while later, she found her on a biobed unconscious and made a note of it, then headed out again.

With little she could do, the ombre haired Chief of Security went back to the turbolift and requested Operations. The next person on her list was a spotted man known as Lieutenant Danyl Adan. It didn't take as long as it had in trying to find the Counselor as no one on the deck had spots on them but she did ask anyone she saw if they had seen him. No one had seen him, but he would be on another part of the ship. She learned that the computer was having a hard time enabling shipwide communications and knew it would take an even harder time of locating people.

There, she requested Engineering as the likely place for the pointy eared woman known as T'Pai would be. When she steppped out, she was greeted by a scene of panicked people who were running from some type of smoke and saw light flicker across doorways before solid doors slammed into place.

"Warning, coolant leak! Evacuate Engineering! Warning, coolant leak, evacuate Engineering!" The computer responded on repeat as personnel scattered. Those on the other side of the doors screamed as the smoke or whatever it was touched them, then began to dissolve.

Camila shuddered at the thought of such a grisly fate and hoped that T'Pai wasn't among those that were killed, but she made an attempt to see if any of the survivors had the pointy-eated woman among them. No one had seen her, so the odds were either she had survived and was elsewhere, or she had perished before anyone could learn her name. She reminded herself that she had only recently learned her own name and hadn't seen the woman on the bridge when the man known as Captain Geisler had asked them to look at the screen to identify themselves. It was unlikely that the woman had known and it stood to reason that others wouldn't know, either.

Before the Chief of Security headed back up to the bridge, she ordered the computer to display a personnel list on every console that was active and to be department specific. With that done, it was likely that more people would learn who they were and where they belonged, but she couldn't do more than that.

With another sigh, she headed back to where the computer said the Security officers were and began to slowly take her time going deck by deck with a small team of volunteers that had been identified as Security personnel. Until she was recalled back to the bridge, there was little else she could do except for look for the missing personnel.
