Camila stretched and started to rise up when she felt a weight on her chest; she blinked and looked down to see an arm draped across her and when she followed it to the source, she smiled as she realized it belonged to Temerant. She turned to face him and leaned in to give him a kiss. "Morning, sleepy head," she murmured and brought up one hand to caress his cheek.
"Good morning," replied Temerant with a soft smile, reaching out to gently stroke her back. "Did you sleep well?"
"Mmhmm...when a certain someone finally let me sleep," she said. She went to move her arm and discovered there was a slight resistance before she pulled it loose from him. Raising it to see what was on it, she laughed. "I think we might be stuck together in more ways than one, Caramel."
Temerant raised her arm to his lips, and licked the caramel bodypaint off her wrist. "Delicious," he said. He pulled the sheet over his head, and started nuzzling her body, moving down her body slowly and randomly kissing her, tasting her skin in search for the sweetness of the caramel. "Let's see if we can find any more..."
Camila squirmed when he started moving down her body and threw her head back. "Temerant," she moaned, but made no attempt to push him away. "You are insatiable. Not that I mind." She started to laugh when he reached a spot just by her hips and tried to roll away from him. "No...not there!"
Temerant laughed, and pushed the sheet off his head for air. He lifted himself back up to eye level with her, and kissed her. "I think we can have those strawberries for breakfast, if you're interested."
She returned the kiss. "Why did you stop?" she asked with a pout. "You were about to get to the good part, but if you're more interested in strawberries..."
He quickly ducked back under the covers. "I thought you wanted me to stop!" he whined. He kissed her belly button, and let his fingers roam around her hips, circling to her inner thigh, and caressing her soft calves as his lips navigated down from her navel. "Aah... found some caramel!" he called out.
"If you keep that up," Camila groaned. "I may have to move in here." She moved the covers aside and stretched her upper body, then propped herself up on her elbows and watched him. "I'm surprised there was any left after last night."
"There are still a few spots here and there," he replied, lifting himself up off the bed. He took her hand, and ran it over his chest. "I'm sure you can find a few traces yourself," he added with a wink.
She ran her hand over his chest and leaned in to lick a spot of caramel off of him, then started to explore for other areas which had been missed the night before. "You do realize that we could do this all day, don't you?"
"Unfortunately," he said finally, checking the chronometer, "time's running... We're both on duty in a little over an hour... Shower before breakfast?"
Camila groaned and stretched again. "I usually do coffee for breakfast, unless you're cooking," she said as she got out of bed. "But a shower is a must. Especially if you plan on joining me."
"Of course," he said, holding her hand. He looked at the sheets, which were a mess of caramel mixed with other sticky things. "Go on ahead, I'll catch up. Just have to toss these in the replicator."

Camila came out of the shower and yawned as she headed into the bedroom and realized that she hadn't brought a change of clothes with her the night before. "Well, I hope there's no Engineers crawling through the Jeffries Tubes," she said. "Otherwise, they're likely to get a view I don't want them to see."
"No no," said Temerant, following closely behind. He wrapped his arm around her waist. "This is for my eyes only." He kissed the base of her neck. "And you can use the replicator station here, and just swing by your quarters to pick up your combadge."
She stopped and smiled as she looked over her shoulder and gave her hips a wiggle. "Actually, my combadge is somewhere in the clothes that got scattered last night," she said. "I never tried to replicate a uniform before, but I guess the Ops Chief would know best."
"Indeed he does," he said, pressing himself against the small of her back, and reaching up to wrap his hands around her chest. "I just need to take your full measurements."
Camila leaned back against him. "Are you sure that's how it's done?" she asked him with a smile. "I could tell you that they're thirty-four, twenty-four be, thirty-seven and that I wear a size six."
"Very good then" he said, reluctantly releasing his hold on her, and walking over to the replicator. He pressed a few keys, and within a minute, the unit started humming, and produced a fresh new uniform for Camila. He picked it up out of the tray, and handed it to her before replicating his own.
After they donned their crisp new uniforms, he picked up the previous night's dishes from the table, and put them back into the replicator, where the unit once again whirred back to life and disassembled the plates' molecules, recycling them for later use - perhaps as uniforms.
She followed him and took the uniform to put on. "Thank you," she said. "Now to find that combadge. Those can't be replicated as easily." She headed for the bedroom and spent a few minutes searching before she gathered all of her clothes up and returned with it pinned to her chest. "Wait...what about pips for our collars? Nevermind. I'll be able to make it back to my quarters in time to get mine."
"Personally I'd love to see you walking around in your uniform and high heels, but I can't imagine that to be so practical. I'd recommend also getting your boots."
Camila looked down and laughed. "You're making me forget everything, Temerant. I really need to be on my toes around here...with my boots on."
Temerant chuckled. "After more than a century or so, you start becoming observant," he said. He diced the strawberries he had prepared for the previous night's dessert, and mixed them up with a granola mix he ordered from the replicator, and vanilla yogurt. He placed the mix in breakfast bowls, and set everything on the table, along with a glass of orange juice, and a fresh cup of coffee for both himself, and Camila.
"Thank you," she said as she sat down at the table barefooted. "You have a really good point, Temerant. As good as you are a chef, a person, and everything else." She took a grateful sip of the coffee and sighed. "I would love to get my hands on some real Kingon coffee, but there's no chance of it here in the Gamma Quadrant."
"Not much chance of that," mused Temerant. "We might as well try to find some decent coffee alternatives here in the Gamma Quadrant."
Camila dug into her breakfast and took a bite, a smile crossing her features as she chewed and swallowed. "This is very good," she said as she reached for the orange juice and took a sip. "As for a coffee alternative, there is nothing in the galaxy as a whole like real coffee."
Temerant smiled. "My father always said, the way to a woman's heart was through her stomach," he said. He paused, thinking. "Or was that Wilem's father? I forget..."
"Here I always heard that was the way to a man's heart," she said before she looked around and noticed an unusual game sitting on his coffee table. "What's that?"
"Man, woman... I've been both, so I tend to lose a bit of perspective now and then," he joked. "That is a Tak board."
"Good point," Camila said as she took another bite of her breakfast. "What's Tak?"
"Tak is an ancient strategy game from Trill. Kind of like chess, or backgammon on Earth. This board was given to me by my grandfather, when I was a kid. It's been in my family for twelve generations. It's made from the wood of an ancient sailing ship."
"That sounds like an interesting game with a long history," she said as she took a drink of her coffee. "Do you have anyone to play it with?"
"Not recently," replied Temerant. "Actually I don't think I've played since I was a boy."
"I'd be interested in learning if you wouldn't mind teaching me," Camila said.
"That'd be lovely." He smiled, and extended a hand across the table toward her, and interlocked his fingers with hers.
She gave his fingers a squeeze and smiled. "Then you have a student," she said.
Temerant winked, and took another sip of coffee. "It's a simple game to learn, but it can take a lifetime to master." He checked the chronometer - they had about twenty minutes left before the beginning of their shift. "Tonight," he promised.
Camila sighed as she saw him glance at the time and knew it was getting close to the time to report for duty. "I'll be looking forward to it," she said as she finished her breakfast. "Thank you for a wonderful time, Temerant." She leaned over to give him a kiss. "Until tonight?"
He grabbed her arm, and kissed the inside of her wrist in a traditional Trill fashion. "I'll be counting the minutes," he said softly, smiling wistfully.
She smiled and lingered a moment before she rose to her feet. "I don't want to, but I need to finish getting ready. I'll see you on the bridge." With another smile, she put her breakfast dishes in the recycler, gathered up her clothes from the night before in a bag, put her heels on and headed out.
