View Award - Bronze Star
Officers who put themselves in grave danger by going far beyond the normal call of duty qualify for this medal. Examples would be protecting a group of trapped/injured persons from enemy aggression; staying behind to ensure that the rest of the unit gets to safety and are not followed.
NOTE: To achieve this award, the person nominated cannot simply be following their superior's orders. They must volunteer to carry out such acts.
