A Familiar Face in a New Place

"Computer begin personal log." Tevik said flat monotone.

"Recording. begin when ready." The computer replied matching his monotone perfectly.

Tevik paused before speaking, wanting to get his thoughts in order before deciding to just speak what he felt no matter if it sounded disjointed or not. It would come from his heart and not sound so mechanical, so unemotional. However where T'Mari was concerned he was anything but unemotional

"I have reached my new assignment, the USS Blackhawk an Akira class starship. I still must check in with either the captain or first officer and present my orders and assignment as an operations officer. My arrival did have an unexpected surprise. T'Mari, she who I am bonded with and have had several meetings with her during Pon'Farr is also a member of the crew. She serves as the Blackhawk's Chief Counselor.

She visited me in my quarters and we had a very productive and pleasant conversation and she invited me to her quarters for dinner, saying she wished us to be closer. Our relationship to be serious. more substance than just meeting to quell raging hormones'. I am very pleased with this latest development and I confess I do love T'Mari. Even when we were children, she was special to me and we were promised to each other. Our union arranged by both sets of parents. Now has an adult, she has grown more beautiful. Her intelligence was always impressive and now even more so. Her smile and wit are most engaging and I look forward to knowing more about her and growing closer together. It should be a most rewarding and I hope pleasant experience. I am most optimistic that our relationship will grow and flourish I shall attempt to add other personal logs to detail how our relationship is progressing." He stopped before adding, "As the humans would say, stay tuned."
