I've been reassigned. The Big I is without its Ace. I'm sure they'll miss me, if not my reticule on their tails in the combat simulators. I've been assigned my own squadron, the 555th. Call themselves the Black Jacks. I'll have to see about wiping them into shape. They seem to be relatively inexperienced.

Haven't met my new CAG, but the new CO is solid.

I think I'll like it here.

Still need to get the flight chief to paint my kills on my boat. Can't let the kids walk past without the customary looks of awe. God, I'm cheesy sometimes...
