RE: REASSIGNMENT AND STANDING ORDERS UPDATE

Effective Stardate 67201.0, you are ordered to report to the Teplan system as Commander, Task Group Belvedere, our designated Rapid Response unit. Belvedere is deployed throughout the eastern sectors to provide support at a moment’s notice to our exploration and survey groups. Authority is granted to USS Black Hawk to self-govern its activity in accordance with standard Rules of Engagement and Protocol.

Captain Geisler will deliver the new standing orders to Belvedere:

1. All vessels to routinely patrol eastern sectors.
2. All vessels are to remain vigilant for piracy.
3. All pirates will be confronted, thwarted, and apprehended if possible.
4. All vessels are to make considerable efforts to seek and discover bases, hideouts, havens, and/or places of interest which pirates frequent or inhabit.
5. Latitude will be granted by permission of Commander, Belvedere to fulfill Starfleet’s primary mission of exploration.
6. All above orders notwithstanding, all Belvedere vessels will stand ready to assist Exploration and Survey Groups should assistance be urgently requested.

As always, submit regular reports with daily intelligence and tactical logs.
