Mission: Imposters Among Us
Location: Intel
Timeline: July 7, 2390 || 0900 hours

Ronin was glad to be back aboard the Black Hawk> and in a fresh, clean Starfleet uniform. The Trill Intelligence officer picked up the case that contained all the supplies that he had taken with him on the mission, the most important being the Intelligence tricorder that he had taken with him everywhere and scanned everything he could with.

He hadn't had much opportunity to sort through it, but he hoped there would be some useful information on it. The real useful information was what he and the others had seen, heard and lived through. He made it a note to not volunteer for away missions of an undercover nature again. With that thought, he cleared his mind and headed to the Intelligence department to report to his Chief.

At the door to the small department, he entered his access code and entered when it swished aside. He gave a nod to the others present and headed directly for Joey's door to tap the panel.

Joey sat behind her desk with a PADD in hand, reviewing some data they'd recently collected. There wasn't anything in there that required her to cover things up, but she still needed to keep a watchful eye on things. It wasn't until her chime alerted her that someone was there to see her that she put the device aside. "Come in," she called.

Ronin entered and came to a halt before her desk. "Ensign Tetanal reporting back in from the mission, Commander," he said.

"Ensign Tetanal, it's nice to see you. I trust things went well on your mission?" Joey found herself asking as she gestured for him to take a seat.

Ronin took a seat and set the bag of Intelligence tools on the desk in front of him. "Very interesting and enlightening. We know where G90B is. At least for now. And who's in charge."

Joey couldn't hide the look of shock from crossing her features. How had they managed to pull such a thing off? There was only one way to find out. "You say very interesting and enlightening. Why don't you do that for me?" She asked, leaning back in her chair. "Enlighten me, that is."

He reached to open the bag and pulled out a PADD to give her which detailed everything from the Rakhari Colony to Mellon where they met the Carters, to D'Rimo's appearance and the head of the local D'rimo, and their enforced hauling of the ore, followed by their escape. He pulled out the Intelligence tricorder and set it on the desk as well. "I haven't had time to download it yet, Commander. I was passively scanning everything for days."

"Would you mind if I hung on to it?" The Intel Chief asked. "I can download and review it." And try to figure out how to clean up this mess.

"Of course." It was why he gave it to her, after all. He reached into the bag and pulled out a computer jammer, several micro surveillance devices, a pair of stun gloves and a communications scrambler. "This is the last of the equipment I checked out. The surveillance devices were already linked to the tricorder, so that information is on there as well."

Joey accepted the PADD and other devices from him. "Thank you, Ensign Tetnel," she said, silently fuming and making preparations to tear someone a new ass. Despite her anger, she had a role to play. "I'm very impressed with what you all were unable to uncover. Is there anything you want to debrief me on that may not be on here?"

Ronin thought for a moment. "The night we were forced into slavery, Richard Carter was going to throw a party. The other D'Rimo shot him and hung his body up for everyone to see, including his wife and daughter. Emily Carter was with us when we escaped."

Joey arched a brow. Now she knew whose ass she planned to verbally blister, and she didn't give a damn if he was the individual in charge of this entire operation. His actions could be responsible for undoing years of careful action and planning. And now, she would be responsible for trying to fix this. "I can't imagine what you all witnessed and went through while you were away," she said. "If you feel like you need to take a day or two to decompress, you have my approval."

"You're looking a little stressed, Commander," Ronin observed easily enough. "Perhaps you should take a extra shift off yourself. I just want to be myself again and I'll be happy to report back to active duty. I can help you download and analyze the data we obtained."

"A little stressed doesn't even begin to cover what I am, Ensign. I'm more than a little stressed given everything that's been happening lately," she said, pausing only for a moment to gather her thoughts. "But, thanks you, Commander di Pasquale and the others, we seem to have our first real leads since all of this mess started. That being said, I'm going to decline your offer to help me. You got to experience it first hand. And while I can appreciate your desire to want to jump back into active duty directly, I want you to at least take the day. No buts."

"Understood, Commander," Ronin said. "I'll take that as an order."

Joey smiled. "More of a strongly advised suggestion. I promise if I need you, I will call you back in."

"I'll see you then," he said. "Maybe I'll design another escape room for you." He laughed as he headed out of her office.

Joey arched a brow to his retreating back. Another escape room? She searched her memories, but couldn't recall ever taking part about in an escape room. If he was serious, she would definitely need to find a way to get out of it. But, for now, she had bigger and more dangerous things to deal with. Namely trying to keep their cover from being blown. That had her rising to her feet with the PADD and some of the other things in hand. It was time to speak to Harvey and move to the next phase of the plan. Once she secured her office, she went to do just that.
