Mission:
Rude Awakening
Location: Jarveth's Quarters
Lieutenant JG Jarveth Adan strolled into his quarters after what seemed like a long shift. Removing his clothes, he stripped down to nothing before stepping into the sonic shower. He prefered a regular hot shower, but he didn’t have the time for one so a sonic shower would do. It felt good after a long day.
The day was a little difficult to comprehend. It seemed to him that they had fired upon the O’Carol first, but that did not make sense. It should have been the other way around. It must have been. Still? Then, for the first officer to be guilty to what amounted to treason. She seemed like a kind soul who wouldn’t hurt anybody, but who knew? One thing was certain. There were Consortium spies on board the Black Hawk. The question was, who were they?
Stepping from the sonic shower, Jarveth toweled off before pulling on a thick, warm bath robe. He then hurried over to the replicator and ordered a hot cup of Terran coffee with cream. Taking a whiff, he drunk it greedily. He liked his coffee nice and hot. Replacing the now dirty cup in the replicator, he averted his attention to get dressed in a fresh uniform. He was going to pull another shift after only a brief break.
He checked himself in the mirror. He needed his hair trimmed a little, but there wasn’t time for that. Pulling on his tunic, he readied himself to go.
