Mission: Extinction

Legacy and her wingman were on either side of their assigned bogey preparing to bring them back to the Black Hawk. They had their tractor beams engaged and were about to move, "keep the weapons trained on them if they try anything," Legacy had ordered her back seat. "Also send them a warning we are about to move out and we expect all cooperation."

"All secure and online" Galahad reported.

Alpha Three had tractored one side of the pirate scout and his wingman, the other. "Ready to go," Ensign Roberts said over the comm link.

Gemma took a high bird position to keep an eye on everything with the remaining squadron members who weren't towing a guest and got on Squadron Coms. "All Patrol craft to make tractor speed back to base but stop at transporter range. I intend to have this lot beamed directly to the brig unless security has a better plan. Only once we're sure there's no little surprises on these craft will we be tractoring them in." These guys didn't look like the suicide types but she wouldn't put it past their bosses to leave a gift. "I will send a message to the Hawk giving them a heads up." Archer continued as she noted their statuses. "Let's move out."

Kendra acknowledged the orders and then brought her forward, in tandem with her wingman's, to speed and began slowly maneuvering into the correct heading back to the ship. She watched the sensors which were directly and actively targeting the craft that she was towing back to the ship.

"The slightest sign of a fluctuation," Kendra said, to her back seat.

Back at the elevated area on Deck Eleven, the Officer in Charge took note that the squadron was about to bring in the pirate craft and pirates. "Get a message to security!" he bellowed. "We're going to need security teams waiting on the Flight Deck when they get here. And prep an area on that damned deck to secure the pirate craft! I don't want them deposited willy-nilly all over the place."

It was a matter of less than a minute before four Security officers came in with their phasers drawn and ready as they spread out to take control of the situation.

The Senior Deck Boss walked from his chair to the large front window looking over the deck. "Good, good," he said. "They're here."

A few minutes later, Peris chimed in on her comm. "Alpha Seven is within transporter range. Slowing to station keeping. Black Hawk, I've got a guest ready for transport." Moments later, a verbal confirmation that her towed craft was empty came from the Black Hawk. "Alpha Leader, Alpha Seven. Prisoner transfer complete. Waiting on orders."

Others were sending their prisoners on in due process and due to typical efficiency, the three craft were empty at the same time. "Patrol, we're going to do a final scan of these craft and let the Black Hawk sensors have a peek. Once we're sure they're clear, we'll tow them in." Archer explained. Conducting her own final scan before coordinating with the Black Hawk on theirs.

Tango had her fighter in line with her wingman and was prepared as she could be while she waited for Archer's signal.

The Deck Boss nodded as the prisoner transfer was confirmed and sensors showed that all craft were empty of enemy combatants. "Open a channel to the squadron." A beep confirmed the open channel. "Flight Deck Command to Black Knights, you're cleared for landing. There's an area prepped and secured port-side of the deck for the pirate craft. Security's standing by. If you'd be so kind as to deposit them there, we'd much obliged. Flight Deck Command out."

"Attention all craft, we are cleared to proceed. Peris you first, then Tango then Legacy. Rest of us will monitor and bring up the rear." Archer came over coms that connected them to each other and the ship.

"Roger, Alpha Leader," Peris keyed over her comm. "All right, Gecko, watch the power consumption on that tractor beam. Keep it real nice and tight once we get to the doors."

As soon as he acknowledged, Peris nudged her craft in the Black Hawk's direction, maintaining a speed no faster than one-quarter impulse. Even at that slow speed, the distance between her and the Black Hawk closed quickly. When she was a kilometer away, she cut impulse engines to let her momentum carry the rest of the way.

"Gecko, angle the tractor beam to put the craft just in front of us," Peris instructed, knowing that the doors were only so wide. "Give me enough room to see what I'm doing, and we'll be good from there." In front of her, the pirate craft raised up perfectly, giving her just enough visibility to see the landing doors. She eased her craft inside and made a wide turn to the left, just in time for the launch bay's tractor beam to take over. As the pirate craft was moved to its berth, Peris nudged her craft to land in its designated zone.

Aurilia moved in with the pirate craft ahead of her and her wingmate, tractor beams from both fighters on it. They kept the enemy ship far enough to cover it if it tried anything and began to ease it into the bay before the computer systems locked on with the bay tractor beam to dock it, then they disengaged, too and peeled off for the next fighters.

Kendra watched from Bravo Three as Aurilla positioned her capture craft ahead of her and her wingman. "That's a good idea, let's get setup like them."

Kyle followed suit with his wingman and their captured craft. The quicker he could set it down and get out of his fighter, the better. Having uninvestigated pirate ships on the same deck as the fighters gave him shivers. Once it was set down in the secure area, Kyle maneuvered to his craft's parking bay and began powering down.

Archer was the last one in after all the other pilots had landed and gone through their own processes. She got on the coms as she secured her own craft "All patrol pilots after securing your craft report to the briefing room. Archer Clear." She watched ground teams lock down the pirate ships. A couple of the senior ones on coms with security and Operations as they worked to ensure the craft were secured properly.Other ground teams helped her patrol with their own craft.
