"Oh! Ohhhh yeeeaaaah
I used to think maybe you loved me, now baby I´m sure
And I just can't wait till the day when you knock on my door
Now everytime I go for the mailbox, gotta hold myself down
Cause I just can´t wait till you write me you´re coming around" - Katrina & The Waves
Mila headed back to her quarters to feed Chow and picked the little Capuchin up after he had gotten his fill of pistachio nuts, yogurt and grapes. "I am being in love and it is wonderful feeling, Chow!" she said as she spun around in a circle which elicited a series of happy noises from the little monkey. Not that he could understand her words, but her mood definitely and he was happy that his formerly sad owner was no longer acting like she had.
Setting him down on her couch, she picked up her combadge that she had taken off and tapped it. =^=Rasputin to Crehan. Would you be caring to join me this evening?=^=
Aidan had been changing into a pair of shorts and a t-shirt to be more comfortable when his combadge chirped. He smile widely as he heard Mila's voice coming from it. The El-Aurian jogged to the table where it lay and tapped it. =/\=Crehan here. I will of course join you. I am on my way. Crehan out.=/\= He didn't bother to change and put the combadge in a pocket on his shorts. Running his hand through his hair, he slipped his feet into a pair of slippers and headed out the door.
It wasn't but a few minutes later that he was standing outside the door of his beloved. He was about to ring the door chime and then chuckled. It wouldn't be too long before he would not longer do that. He reached out and pressed his finger to the panel.
"Come," Mila's voice responded and the door slid open the reveal the Russian brunette wearing a dark, long sleeved top that was interlaced with see through mesh, but nothing was showing that wouldn't be seen in public, a pair of black shorts and no socks. She smiled when she saw him and Chow sat up on the back of the couch and gave a hoot and did something that looked like a wave when he said Aidan.
Aidan walked in, waved at Chow, and looked at Mila. "You look beautiful, Printsessa. But then, you always do, no matter what you wear." He walked over to her, took her hands in his hands, and pressed a kiss to her lips. "Thank you for the invitation."
Mila returned the kiss and smiled. "I would not wish to be separated from you more than is required for duty, Sir Medovik," she said softly. "Missing you is like missing part of myself that I could not live without. You are being the stars in my night sky and galaxy would be dark without you."
"And neither do I wish to be apart from you, Mila," he said. "I am glad that we will moving in together in a few days. However long those few days are. Then we will not need to concern ourselves with it. For other than work, we will be together. And you will no longer need to feel as though you are missing a part of yourself." He led her over to the couch. "You have a way with words, my love. Stars, galaxy...I say my life would be dark without you."
She settled down next to him on the couch and Chow moved to sit on the back of the couch between them and looked at them both. "You are being sweeter than Medovik," she told him. "In all your years and travels, have you never met someone that you spoke such sweet words to, Aidan?"
"I have met a couple that I wanted to say them to, but I had a...feeling. It is hard to explain, El-Aurian 'feelings.' But I waited and was glad that I did. Without going into details, they were not worthy of such words. You are and you will have them." He put a hand on her knee. "Other than that one, has there been anyone special to you?"
"Nyet," Mila said and gave her head a shake which caused Chow to brush a lock of hair from his face. "When I am living at home with parents, I am under many rules and men who became interested in me often were not passing tests given by them. When I am enlisting, I spent much time studying and learning every aspect of Administration so I could further my goals. Now...now I am knowing that wait was well worth it. I am being very happy with you, Aidan and I would not give you up for anything."
He pulled her closer. "Nor would I give you up for anything, Mila. I will always hold you close, when we're together and when we're apart. For I will always hold you in my heart, my dear Printsessa." Aidan slowly leaned it. He watched her hazel eyes move closer. Then he closed his and gently placed his lips on hers. It was a soft kiss at first, but then he pressed a bit harder before he pulled away a minute later. "I love you Mila, and I always will."
"I love you, too, Aidan," she said after the kiss and snuggled against him. "You are first one I am thinking of when I am waking up and last one on my mind before I am sleeping. Chow is to be getting jealous, but he is liking you as well and that is making me happy. Have you had chance to get photo from Joey for painting?"
He sat back, hand still on her knee. "Yes, I have. It's a beautiful photo. I think I shall enjoy painting a beach scene." Then he paused and smiled. "Though not as much as I enjoyed painting you as I see you when I close my eyes. Oh, I still want you to join me at least one afternoon while I'm painting it. You might even try your hand at something if you'd like."
"I would be happy to be joining you, but I am only good at small tricks and playing cards," Mila told him. "Other than that, I am just being simple person who enjoys the small things in life. That, and one big El-Aurian who has stolen my heart."
"I understand," said Aidan. Then he grinned at her El-Aurian comment. "I like my simple Russian woman who enjoys the small things in life. I won't ask you to try your hand. But just so you know, you are very good at so many other things than small tricks and playing cards," said Aidan. "Like working your way into my heart and staying there." He leaned in and whispered in her ear, "I do not want you to leave, Mila. Me or my heart. I want you there to stay. Forever."
"For you, I would try anything," she said with a smile, but it faded a little when he said forever in his heart. She knew that he would outlive her by an untold span of years and it saddened her to think of him alone in the universe one day. "Just as you to to be staying in mine," she assured him and brightened her smile so he wouldn't worry. "I could not be letting you escape so easily, Sir Knight."
"I wouldn't leave you for all the latinum on Ferenginar," he said. Aidan was sitting close to Mila. In fact he was leaned right up against her, talking. He couldn't help but notice a slight, and short, change in her smile. "Mila," he said, "what is it?"
Mila looked up at him and brought a hand to caress his cheek. "Is just silly woman who is having silly thoughts," she said. "Important thing is that you are being here now and I am being with you. For being from a race of Listeners, you are hearing things that are not said as well, are you not?"
When her hand met his cheek, he smiled. When she caressed it, he relaxed against it. She had a soft touch that was disarming. "Indeed," he said, "we listen to what is said and see some small things, too. Sometimes, though, I miss the small things or misread them. I'm still learning. But yes, the most important thing is that I am here now and you are here now. If you ever want to talk about your silly thoughts, I will listen. After all, it's what we're known for. And we're a patient people, too." He turned his head and kissed her hand where it had been caressing his cheek.
She gave him a soft smile. "I am just thinking about you," she told him. "A man who is living multiple lifetimes and seeing ones like myself come and go in blink of eye, yet you are stopping for one blink and giving yourself to that moment. I know that you are saying that you are sensing something special and that you are mine and that I am yours, but will it be same in one hundred years?"
Aidan took her hand in his. "Mila, as far as I am concerned, we will have something special and we will be each other's for as long we have together. I know that in one hundred years things could be different. But even after that, this blink that I am giving myself to will always be special. You asked earlier if I had ever met someone to speak such sweet words to. And the answer was no. You are the first to hear these sweet words spoken from my mouth." He paused for a second. "Will it be the same in one hundred years? If you are still here, then yes. If not, then yes, in here." He pointed to his heart. "I cannot see what the next one hundred years will hold. Or the next two hundred. But know this, as much as I hate to think about it now, when you're gone, you will live on through me. I can never forget you. You are my Nexus."
Mila was torn between wanting to cry and wanting to smother him with kisses and she opted for the latter. She trailed kisses from his eyelids to his lips to his neck and back to his lips again before she looked at him. "You are being very special to me, Aidan and I will love you just as much in one hundred years as I am loving you now," she told him. "If it is meaning that I am having to find ways to live longer just to be near you longer, for you, I will do it."
Aidan was caught off guard by the smothering of kisses. But he liked it. No, he loved it. Once she had pulled back and finished speaking, he said, "Perhaps we can both work towards finding those ways for you. Because I want you near me as long as I can have you, Printsessa." He reached over and pulled her up on his lap. He started by kissing the back of her hand, then he moved up her arm, her neck, her cheek, and then pulled her close for a long, lasting kiss on her lips. When he finally did pull away, he said, "My little Rasputin, you are so very special, and precious, to me. I love you." He put hand in her hair and ran it down the length.
She smiled and wiggled out of his lap. "I am loving you and remembering something special that I am having made for you," she said. "You are not to be moving." With that, she darted to her bedroom. Chow hooted in surprise and looked down at him with a confused look.
"Okay," he said, curiosity in his tone. "I will not move from this couch." He watched her as she ran into the bedroom. When Chow hooted, Aidan turned to look at him. Shrugging, he said, "No idea, my little friend."
A minute later she came back with a package that was about a foot and a half wide by a foot high, but only an inch thick and handed it to him. "I hope you are liking it," she told him.
Aidan took the package and looked at it. "I am certain that I will, Mila." Aidan began opening it and went wide-eyed when he saw what it was. A few seconds later, a single tear rolled down his cheek.
Inside was what looked like a ship plaque of the SS Lakul, the Whorfin-class ship that he had been on that had been rescued by the Enterprise.
"Mila, it is wonderful!" exclaimed Aidan. "I love it. The thought that you put into this...the Lakul...it's amazing. I was never on the Bridge to see the actual plaque, but this...this looks like it could have been there." He wiped that tear from cheek and another one from his eye. "This means so much to me." He put it beside him on the couch and stood, wrapping his arms around her waist. "Thank you. Thank you very much." Aidan pulled her in for a hug.
"You are being most welcome," Mila told him with a smile as she hugged him. "Please do not be crying or you will get me started. Is something which I am finding in database and remembered that you were on the Lakul. I am knowing that ship plaque is supposed to be going to senior member of crew, but original is gone and you are here now and I am wanting you to have it."
He looked down at her. "I won't continue. It's just that this is so meaningful. This was the ship that brought us from El-Auria, the ship that brought me to the Alpha Quadrant by way of the Enterprise. Ultimately, the Lakul is the reason I'm here today, in Starfleet and on this ship. This really means a lot to me, Mila. And to know that you thought of it...that means so much more." He sat back down on the couch and moved the plaque to the table in front of them.
She settled back down on his lap and wrapped an arm around his neck to give him a long, soft kiss. "That is because I am loving you and wanting you to have something more than mere memories," she told him. "Man is not being made of memories, but is to be making them."
When he came up for air from her wonderful kiss, Aidan smiled. "I love you, Mila Rasputin. And I already have more than memories. I have you. And we've already made memories on our first shore leave together. Do you remember the restaurant and the...purple?" He smiled and looked her up and down, searching for the purple.
Mila gave a giggle and smirked. "Da," she said, her eyes gleaming. "I am remembering look on your face very well, Sir Rogue. Especially when you are seeing napkin. If you are to be looking for purple, you are going to have to be getting some of my clothes off."
He chuckled a little bit as he saw her eyes sparkle and then mentioned the napkin. "Yes, I remember that napkin very well. It was in with my clothes when I was unpacking them. In my shared quarters. With my roommate in the room." Then he paused again and checked her out. "Purple...well, I can handle that. Perhaps I will continue my in depth search for the purple later tonight."
She gave a full belly laugh and nearly cried from laughing at his comment about his roommate being in the room and took a full minute to control herself. "I am picturing story that you are telling him," she managed. "Nyet, is just napkin. I am not knowing how it is getting shaped like panties. Nyet, is not being mine." She burst into laughter again.
Aidan started laughing aloud as Mila gave her imagined speech. "Actually, I was able to hide it from him. He did not see it...as far as I know. I am just thankful that it was only a napkin." Sir Rogue patted her backside and began laughing again.
Mila giggled again when he patted her butt and snuggled against him. "I am going to have to be sending gift to Quinn," she said. "Something which he and his girlfriend are finding useful such as napkin."
He liked it when she snuggled against him. So much so, that he pulled her in a little closer. "That, my dear, sounds like a good idea. I should like to be in the room when he opens it and sees a napkin, or whatever you send that they would find useful." As he had pulled her in closer, Aidan could now lay his head slightly against hers. "Are you wearing a perfume?" he asked, taking another deep breath.
"Da," she said as she laid her head against his chest. "It is called Aqua Allegoria Lavande Velours Guerlain. I am having replicator code for it and wear it only on very special occasion. Are you liking it?"
"Da," he said, using the native language of his beautiful brunette. "I like it very much. Lavender and...vanilla, is it? I know there's more to it, but I cannot tell what they are. I know that if the others knew that you only wear it on very special occasions, they would appreciate the dinner even more. I know I do." He put his hand on her cheek and softly caressed it as she laid against his chest.
"Is being lavender and violet, followed by refined notes of iris, sandalwood and vanilla," Mila told him as she wrapped her arms around his torso. "I am liking each of those scents and lavender and violet are being shades of purple, so I am wearing it in different ways other than that which you are not yet seeing."
"Oh, that they are," he said. Her arms around him felt good. "Three different ways you're wearing purple...and one of them I have yet to see." He loved her, so very much, and wanted to shower her with everything in his ability for the next hundred years plus. "My Mila...one way I have yet to see...you, I love you and the many ways that you keep me on my toes, Printsessa. Don't ever stop."
She blushed and moved her head off of his chest and leaned up to give him a kiss. "I could not be stopping even if I am wanting to, Sir Knight," she told him. "You always rise to occasion and are keeping me thinking of next thing. I am always looking forward to your next response or bit of insight that you are having."
Aidan returned her kiss and would dearly have loved to put a hand behind her head and hold her for a moment, kissing her. But that would have to wait for later. "That is good to hear, that you could not stop if you wanted. I enjoy talking with you, Mila. I enjoy spending time with you, period. And I enjoy seeing you blush. It has been a while. Perhaps I should try again." When he put hand on her butt this time, it was only two fingers and they were 'walking' around.
Mila wiggled and giggled when she felt his fingers on her behind and looked up at him. "Are you to be letting you fingers do talking, Sir Rogue?" she asked him before she started to run her fingers up his sides lightly. "Because I am having you know that I am more than willing to be explorer as well and I am having years of experience in Starfleet to explore."
Aidan smiled when she started wiggling and giggling. It was as good as blushing for him. "Oh yes, my fingers talk very well." Then she started moving hers up his sides. Aidan had never been overly ticklish, but it still made him laugh a little when someone did it. And it had been many decades since someone had. Only this time, he was also getting goosebumps. "Then explore away my little lavender violet. I am certain that we both will have some fun and laughs as you do. And I will keep exploring, too." Aidan then ran all of his fingers up her side and then back down.
She laughed and moved her hands under his shirt to slide them over his washboard stomach and up over his pectoral muscles. "I am thinking that you have been working out more, Sir Knight," she said softly. "You are being so big and strong that it is going to be taking a while to fully explore every inch of you." She squirmed under his fingers on her sides and looked at him with adoration in her eyes.
He inhaled deeply as she slid her fingers under his shirt and up his torso. "Why yes, I have been working out more as a matter of fact. Very kind of you to notice. As for it taking a while, we have the rest of the night, my love." He watched her eyes sparkle and gleam. Then he stopped running his fingers and lovingly placed his hand around her on her stomach.
Mila smiled. "Are you not meaning the rest of our lives?" she asked him as she looked into his eyes while she continued to stroke his chest with the very tips of her fingers. "You are very handsome, very strong and very caring man, Aidan Crehan and I am not giving you up for anything in universe."
He smiled and softly spoke, "Indeed we do, we have the rest of our lives. Together." His breaths came slower as her fingertips barely touched his chest. "And you are a very beautiful woman and worth caring for, Mila Rasputin. I would never allow you to give me up. I would chase you around the universe until you became weary and about to fall. Then I would catch you and carry you and hold you so close that my strength would flow from me to you. And then, I would truly be a part of you."
She shivered. "You would never have to be chasing me far," she told him after placing a soft kiss on his lips. "For I would never wish to be apart from you. I would come through space and time if you were to be needing me and nothing would stand in my way. You are everything to me and I would give up everything to spend even one more second with you."
He didn't want her to pull away. He even nudged forward a little as she did. He loved her kisses. "You are so sweet, Printsessa." He stared into her hazel eyes. "I can see forever in your eyes. You are my everything." He leaned in and pressed a kiss to her soft lips. He pulled back ever so slightly...then paused, and went back for another. The El-Aurian lingered as long he dared, then went up, touching his nose to hers and staring into her eyes. "Beautiful."
The kisses filled her with warmth and a fuzzy feeling that went from her toes to the top of her head and she knew she was deeply in love with the man she had met only a short time ago. Still, the heart did not care anything about time and everything about what made it beat on a metaphorical level and she listened to it and to his as they seemed to beat in sync. ""And you are my handsome man," she said. "Come, let us continue conversation in bedroom and give you opportunity to be finding other purple."
"Let's," he said, grinning. As Mila was still sitting on his lap, it made Aidan's plan easier. He put an arm under her legs and left the other on her back. He picked her up just enough to allow himself to stand and lifted her up as he did so. "I like the idea of exploring and finding the other purple."
Mila wrapped an arm around his neck when he picked her up and looked at him. "I am betting that you are," she said as Chow hopped down from his spot on the couch and scampered over to where one of his treats were. "You are great explorer and I am thinking that your knowledge of Archaeology will be helping you find it."
"You have no idea," he said. Then he carried his Printsessa into her bedroom. In a few days, he would be carrying her into their bedroom.
