For the last two years, the crew of the Akira-Class USS Black Hawk-B have been forced through the tumbler where rocks become precious gems. This ship and crew now are among the best and the brightest in the Gamma Quadrant. Some have started families, others have found love, and others find solace in the bottom of a bottle.

The USS Black Hawk is now returning to the unknown, no longer on missions to dig and investigate deep, dark secrets, but to boldly go where no one has gone before. Little do any of them know that what they will soon encounter will be their greatest test of all!

Tevik was pleasantly pleased. He not only had he reunited with T'Mari but they had a true relationship not just one built around sex. he found her to be intelligent, an excellent conversationalist, eager to learn more about Vulcan teachings and also quite attractive. he also could not wait to see her again which he would do after he got this required visit out of the way.

The ship had about an hour before it reached Gamma Command, and for the first time in days, Harvey felt free enough to finally think of himself. His uniform might have been clean, but the skin it covered was bloodied, matted, and filthy. Nearly every cut, burn, and bruise was concealed. Two hours of silence from the Tiburon had stretched themselves thin across the bridge. Maddy sat in the center chair, posture straight but jaw tight, eyes fixed on the stars streaking past the viewscreen. Every passing second without an update gnawed at her. A Starfleet ship didn’t go silent without reason.
